Max, aka “Rambo cat”

Christmas basket

I have done a few posts on my cat, Lou.  I realized I never

did the same for my other baby, Max.  I love him very much,

but he isn’t as funny as Lou.  He is more my husband’s cat.  If

Jim is out in the garage, Max will sit on the counter right by the

door and wait for him.  But I wanted to give some attention

on my blog to Max.  I renamed him “Rambo cat” because the other

day, he was running around like crazy and went to jump on a ledge

at the top of our stairs (on the second floor of our house), completely

missed, and fell to the first floor.  He knocked the thermostat off the wall

on the way down.  Jim and I were watching a movie, and when we ran

downstairs, he was hiding under the dining room table.  He was

playing with his ball a few minutes later.  I guess cats really do land

on their feet!

Well, not really.  But I am proud that I sold my first photo of my kitty, Lou.

I have some pictures of his paws on etsy.com, and someone else will

get to enjoy my photogenic cat.  So I have show off other cute photos:)

Does that thing have to be in my face?

New photo on etsy.com!  I have some photos listed with Lou’s paws, which seem to be pretty popular, but now you can see his sweet face.  But he doesn’t look too happy as I think I am interrupting his naptime 🙂

Photo close to home: My Cat

available at etsy.com

I have a few photos that I took of my cat, Lou.  I love paws!  I made a cat page, but couldn’t figure out how to tag it!  Anyway, this goes with the photography theme.  My husband and I adopted Lou in 2009 when he was 8 weeks old.  I have a wonderful friend who was walking around her neighborhood and heard kittens meowing under a porch.  She asked if they needed homes.  She volunteers for Nashville Cat Rescue, so it was the natural thing to do.  And yes, they did need homes.  So we went to this lady’s house and picked out Lou.  But…my friend thought he was a girl.  His name was Molly for a couple days until the vet informed us he needed neutering, not spayed!  He loves to fetch, talk, and play with his big brother Max, who is another tabby a year older.  Please see other paws pictures in my shop at Etsy.com.
